The NV350 and NV700 are TDK-Lambda's 5th generation modular power supplies. The online product selector chooses the best combination of modules, converters and option cards from the user's requirements, and a high efficiency power supply can then be quickly assembled using pre-built assemblies. Power levels from 350 to 1150W are covered, with voltages up to 64V (or higher if outputs are connected in series).
VEGA AND VEGA DC
TDK-Lambda's Vega series of 450, 650 and 900W modular supplies are fully configurable and can provide between one and ten adjustable outputs. Up to 5 modules – single or dual outputs – can be fitted with output voltages from 1.8V to 64V and output currents of up to 120 amps. No minimum loads are required and inhibit, AC fail, current-share and DC-good signals are available as options. Both IEC 60950-1 and medical 60601-1 certifications are available with a variety of cooling and earth leakage current options.
The Vega-Lite modular power supply series utilizes a sub-set of Vega modules, enabling the output power to be increased to 550W and 750/900W. Like the Vega series, there is no minimum loading and up to five modules can be selected to provide one to ten outputs. Both IEC 60950-1 and medical 60601-1 certifications are available with a variety of signaling and two earth leakage current options.
The CM4 series is the world's first conduction-cooled modular power supply with a conduction cooled rating of 600W and up to 750W peak power for 5 seconds with up to 4 programmable outputs. CM4 may also be configured as convection or forced air cooled. Combining a 4kVac (2 x MOPP) input-to-output isolation and an 1 x MOPP input-to-ground isolation, the CM4 is certified for for medical and industrial equipment. 5V / 1A standby output is standard on all models and all output modules are supplied with remote sense and remote on/off.
The high efficiency modular QM series is available in system fan and low noise fan versions. The 5 models (QM4, QM5, QM5H, QM7 and QM8) in the series cover the range from 550W-1200W low line and 650W-2000W high line. Combining 1 MoPP (1.5kVac) input to ground, 2 MoPP (4kVac) input to output and 1 MoPP (1.5kVac) output to ground isolation, the entire QM series is certified for both medical equipment (making it suitable for BF (body floating) type) and industrial. High efficiency levels of up to 91% are combined with a wide selection of modules to perfectly match your requirement.
The single output modular QS series offers low audible noise (with a temperature controlled fan to reduce audible noise) and a selection of standby and control options including PMBus™. The series is supported by a 7 year warranty and covers output voltages from 12V up to 52.8V.
Suitable for both medical and non-medical applications, the entire series has full medical isolation (1 x MoPP input to ground, 2 x MoPP input to output and 1 x MoPP output to ground) and either dual or single fusing options are available. The QS series operates from a universal AC input of 90 - 264V to meet a wide range of applications, including industrial, medical, test & measurement, broadcast, communications and renewable energy.
TDK-Lambda's Alpha series of 1000 to 1500W modular supplies are fully configurable and can provide between one and 16 adjustable outputs. Up to 8 modules – single or dual outputs – can be fitted with output voltages from 1.8V to 48V and output currents of up to 120 amps. No minimum loads are required and inhibit, AC fail, current-share and DC-good signals are available as options. IEC 60601-1 medical certifications are available for the 1000W model.
